warcraft III : night elf strategia 1
First things first this build will allow you to do a rush or creep against some of the more powerful creeps out there.
Ok here goes.
-Send 4 wisps to your mine
-Send the other wisp to build an altar
-Queue up 2 wisps
-1st wisp out goes and builds a moon well
-Queue up another wisp
-2nd wisp goes to mine
-queue up another wisp
-3rd wisp should go build another moon well
-queue up 3 more wisps, rally them to nearby trees
-so your 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th wisps will be getting lumber
-your altar and your 1st moon well should finish almost at the same time, start your hero up(I prefer the demon hunter)
-send the one of the wisp that built the altar to lumber and the one the made the 1st moon well to scout.
-when you get 60-65 lumber get a wisp off the tree and move it to where you want to build your 1st ancient of war(AoW), when you get 70 lumber build the AoW
-when you get up to 100 lumber build a hunters hall
-when you get up to 70 lumber again build a second ancient of war
-then build your 3rd moon well
-you should start getting huntresses once your first AoW is done and keep producing until you have a total of six(don't forget to use that second AoW when it finishes)
-when you have your 6 huntresses and your hero get out there and creep.
-upgrade your armor first, then weapons for your huntresses, then upgrade your tree of life.
-once your hero has gained 2 lvls creeping bring your group back and heal and grab at least 2 more huntresses(stay out of low upkeep for now)
-this is about the time I choose to expand so if you have a mine cleared already use it, if not go clear one.
-at the same time get your huntresses the sentinel ability and put birds all over the place, if you can get some in your opponent(s) base.
-at this point it depends what your enemy is doing (and what race too...) you need to adjust to what they are doing, if they are orcs and are getting shamans, counter with dryads and buy a wand of negation to help, if there humans going for griffins get some druids of the talon, you should know enough of night elves to know what your units do.
Now for my helpful hints
-In a team game, unless your in a 2v2 where your opponents are absolutely terrible, you need to help your teammates out. If they get attack go help them, unless there is no way to beat them, that's when you choose to attack that persons base. Although letting them get that big without you being the same size is just bad scouting on your part.
-Rushing is a legit tactic dispite what so many people say. If you agree to a rush then you should rush right away... don't go creeping. If seen people get their heros killed by creeping ruining the rush.
-When you are rushing if your not in your base get there, you can defend much better there
-Scouting will allow you to be prepared for incoming attacks
-Calling me a geek saying that I only play warcraft 3 all day doesn't stop me from killing you.
-Use dryads to your advantage those spears the throw around, they slow targets.
-The demon hunter IS in my opinion the best hero killer, his mana burn makes another hero(except for the warrior heros) pretty much useless.
Well hope this helps somewhat...
-Dragons-Rage
As of this guide I'm lvl 16 play on lorderon do mostly 2v2, 3v3
The demon hunter is a good choice for a first hero becuase he's still very capable of solo-creeping allowing you to spend a bit more of your early time establishing your economy instead of buying archers which you will just die anyways. This is only a small variation on most of the Night Elf Build's I've personally seen in use. Some players (myself included for team games, but not 1 on 1) prefer to go with Keeper of the Grove as a first hero. Good Guide Dragon's Rage, thanks for the submission.
For all the rest of you out there who've submitted stuff, I'm still working my way through it one guide at a time. Since I know I won't be able to post all of it (even some of the stuff that might deserve it) I encourage you all to repost your strategies in the appropriate strategy forums. Also, Strategies with replays are my favorite. If anyone has a good replay to illustrate this build order here (particularly you Dragons-Rage) please post it to the gamers replays forums and I'll try to attatch a link to it here later. Thanks again! |
